The Brief

Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council wanted to refurbish and repurpose the existing Northgate House building to create a new teaching space for Trinity Sixth Form & College.

This new building, with custom design, would allow them to teach the next generation of students in a future proof educational space.

The Solution

The city centre location of the project ensured that the coordination of deliveries was of paramount importance. Through meticulous planning and communication with the client, the nearby bus terminus and the local shops, we were able to complete deliveries to & collections from the project unhindered throughout.

The renovation of the building involved collaboration with various stakeholders, contractor’s design and daily liaison with named contractors delivering other packages on the site at the same time.

The repurposed building now has specialist teaching spaces including laboratories, classrooms, break out spaces, dining areas, a café, computer rooms, a library, offices, amenity spaces and even a dance studio.
