Cardinal were approached by a major high street retailer to complete the technical design and build of a new concept till, self-scan and queue merchandisers.
These new designs would be being installed in a new concept store.

Utilising our design and Virtual Reality suite we were able to quickly turn ideas into a virtual design that could be signed off by the client. Cardinal’s design teams worked alongside the client’s design team to produce firstly the virtual realisation of a new design concept and then the physical build.
Once the design was approved, the manufacture was able to be quickly commenced through the intrinsically linked systems that Cardinal employs. The first units produced were delivered to site, ahead of programme, and exceeded customer expectations.
The project was delivered within budget and timescales, this was through the omission of any prototyping works and a significantly quicker turnaround on design, due to the integration of VR technology.
A great project which saved time, reduced waste, cost less and improved quality.
