Please support me in the 2012 Greater Manchester Marathon

March 8th, 2012

On Sunday 29th April Phil Bamford will be running 26 miles 385 yards in the first Manchester Marathon for a decade. He is doing this for the daughter of his friend.

Tess is a 5 year old girl from Huncoat, near Accrington who suffers from the devastating terminal illness Alexanders Disease. This incurable condition is incredibly rare, affecting approx 50 children worldwide, and Tess has a life expectancy of between 5 – 10 years of age. Her family want to give Tess as many happy experiences as possible as well as create precious memories of Tess for her 2 brothers. Any sponsorship would be gratefully appreciated to allow the family to take Tess on a special holiday this summer. Thank you.
